Privacy Policy

The short version

Your speed results never leave your device. We run no analytics, set no cookies, and have no user accounts. The site is a set of static files — there is no backend that could store anything about you.

What leaves your browser

Two kinds of network request happen while you take a test:

• Speed measurements to speed.cloudflare.com — downloading and uploading test data and timing small probes. Cloudflare processes this traffic to serve the test; the timing metadata those responses carry (IP-derived city, ASN, colo) is read by this page to display your server and network details.
• One IP/ISP lookup to ipwho.is — used to show your ISP organisation, ASN and approximate location. That provider sees your IP address, as any server you contact does.

What we store

Nothing on any server. Your most recent result is saved in your browser’s localStorage so you can compare later — it never syncs anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently.

Cookies, analytics, advertising

None of the three. No cookie banner because there are no cookies; no trackers because there is no advertising and nothing to advertise.

Changes

If this policy ever changes in a way that adds data collection, it will be documented here before any such behaviour ships.
